Anthony Chica

Anthony Chica is a Senior Strategist at North Star Alliances. He is a seasoned public affairs professional with deep expertise in community outreach, media & communications, and project management. In his role at NSA, Anthony designs and implements internal strategic initiatives relating to NSA’s organizational goals. He also leads the development, coordination, and execution of client projects that involve community engagement and public outreach.

Before joining NSA, Anthony worked at the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). During that time, he led public outreach for agency projects, most notably the Traffic Reduction Study, an ambitious and complex initiative exploring the potential for congestion pricing in Los Angeles County. While at Metro, Anthony also advanced outreach activities for the LA 28 Mobility Concept Plan, which aims to improve regional mobility ahead of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Prior to his time at Metro, Anthony was a Public Affairs Director at Cerrell Associates, where he led a variety of comprehensive engagement and communications programs for clients across multiple industries, honing his skills as a strategic advisor.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government & International Politics from George Mason University. He is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at the Southern California Leadership Network and has won the Public Relations Society of America’s Los Angeles PRism Award twice over the course of his career.
